Bloggers on the run?

First it was Tara Hunt who started blogging to help her employer Riya, but soon she figured out that ’she’ was more interesting than her company and left to do her own thing. Today I learned that Robert Scobel is leaving Microsoft to join PodTech. Interesting how the bloggers are becoming more interesting than the companies they cover.

    I think Robert and Tara’s cases are completely different. Tara left Riya to persue her own agenda and brand. Robert has moved to a new and exciting opportunity.

    I think this is going to get so much coverage because Robert had really become the human voice of Microsoft. But let’s not forget he also produced tons of video for Channel 9.
    Sounds like PodTech is a great next logical step for him.
