Does Blake Rhodes Exist?

This evening the main conversation was about Icerocket’s founder Blake Rhodes. The question? Does he even exist? Here are some theories:

  • Blake Rhodes is a psudeonym for an India programmer named Sanjay
  • Blake Rhodes is actually Mark Cuban
  • Blake Rhodes is actually an anagram (you figure it out)
  • Blake Rhodes is a 10 year old prodigy (his mom won’t let him come to SXSW)
  • Blake Rhodes is a chat bot.

We want to meet Blake and get to know him. We all live in Dallas so we might as well. How many of us are there here anyway? Blake call us! email us!

Update: the conversation expanded through the night to include a number of ‘internet famous’ folks who each had never met or talked to Blake. The list included: Ben Brown (consumating), Jessie James Garrett (Ajax), Eris Stassi (Refresh Dallas, Barcamp), Andy Baio (Waxy.org/upcoming.org), Scott Beale (laughing squid), Ryan King (suprcilious), Whirley, Chris St. John, Ewan (the guy with the kilt), and Rachel Clarke (bibrik).

Update: we will be having lunch with Sanjay, I mean Blake, next week.  (check out his comment!)
